I Will Weep For You

I will weep for you,
but never in mortal tears.

I will weep for you, but not
inside this house of mirrors.

Seek my tears, that I have shed
for you, in the gentle morning
rain.

Let each rain drop wash over you,
slowly, until you are cleansed from
all of your pain.

I will not weep for you in the
order of all womankind.

Look only for my tears, I've
shed for you, gathered in the
streams, lakes, and seas.

Remember them with tenderness
when you think oft of me.
