I knew before the cards were dealt
I would lay down my heart
shuffled and tossed
without making the cut.

Losing it all
because you mattered too much
misplacing my sorrow
in a coin purse so small.

Tucked away,  until one fine day
I'll cash in my dreams
without cutting my losses
and walk away a winner.

Hi Bluesy, what a great attitude, confidence in yourself, able to love, able to let go, able to live on.  Right on.  ~K~

(smiles) Yay! God Bless You, sweet friend, just let them keep the loose change of broken dreams and keep all you really came for, for there are far better places than casinos to play your dreams! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, shuffle them wild, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lori, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I know it's not if you win or lose, but I'll be damned if I never learned how to play by the rules.

Smiling at you all, and thank you~

Well, I am only one voice
but I think you are a winner
...and a keeper.

Lori, you already are a winner! ~ and in more ways that one!

This was a cute, up-beat poem! Full of spirit! ~ just like you yourself are!

I doubt that any of us know the rules my friend, but I'm sure you're a winner. Take care!
