This is a follow up poem to
"I'm Handicapped By You"
and I just wanted others to realise how
much of a struggle it is for those less
fortunate than ourselves and we need to
show a little more compassion.

* * *

I may be physically challenged
But my brain is still okay
Please don't treat me like a hero
I'm just living life my way

My disability is not a curse
You cannot catch it like the flu
You can reach out and touch me
And nothing will happen to you

I am a part of your world
So please don't shut me out
I live a very social life
I'm still able to get about

I am of value to society
I'd like to share my point of view
I have a job and a partner
See, I'm really just like you

* * *

"The richest people in our society
are those who can give without
feeling in any way
diminished by giving.
This has nothing to do with money
It has everything to do with feelings
of self-love and abundance"

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you

(big hugggsssssssss) Your golden, giving heart never stops offering love and comfort to all the world, sweet friend, I wish there could be so many more people like you as those with handicaps are just like us and we must support them and keep them company and communicate with them just as we do with those who don't have handicaps! (wipes tears) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I have a friend with CP. She has had it since a very young child. Many operations.
She has a full time job, goes dancing, has just bought a home. Nothing slows this little lady down.
I see people stop and stare or whisper. How RUDE........
I say give people with any health problem a hand and surround them with love.
Good poem.
Love Bon-Bon

You know Sue, my father in law
is disabled
and the most beautiful man I know
so proud . .  embarrassed by THIS
and within this . . .
you have shown your heart
as you always do
and made me see mine
just a little bit clearer
thank you

If all of us REALLY took a good look at ourselves...we'd see that we have some sort of disability (even though many of us choose to ignore them)
This is beautiful !
