They think
I haven't passed through
every point
that was their turning

where
they
let
go

They don't know
I let my fingertips glide
across these signs

and sometimes
dug my nails til bled

Their pseudo wisdom makes me burn
and bite tongue
that yearns to tell them

Perhaps
they had never loved
as long
deep
and wide
as I

Yes. That's so true! No one knows what goes on inside *your* skin. They don't know the parts of your soul that was touched by them when it had never happened with any other before.

"Perhaps

Gemma, I don't that they did. Most people aren't like me and you and love with all our hearts and everything else we have. We give our alls. That's just the way we are.

In none of my other relationships through my life, have I ever met anyone who loves me in that same way...until I met Gary. But every day that passes, I realize more that he truly does.

Gemma, you will meet someone who is deserving of the kind of love you give when you are "in love". I know that you don't think so now, but I just know that you will. Look at Suzie...like me, she wasn't looking either...it just happened.

It hurts me to see you hurting so badly, my little friend.
With love and hugs,
Ethel Mae

Let go of the pain, but keep your heart intact. It needs some space and healing time to fill it all back up with your loving soul.

You are still in the trial and error stage of your life's love story. It will have a happy ending, but you may have some difficult chapters to go through in the meantime. Keep the faith ~ and continue to be the loving young woman that you are!

Loveya, Sweetheart!

perhaps...

i think that it's brainless to assume that making changes to your window's view will gain a new perspective.

If you can say it all in a few short words this would be it.

"Perhaps
they had never loved
as long
deep
and wide
as I"

Amazing. You can tell you put your heart and soul into this piece. Letting go is one of the hardest things to do.

they loved unto the best of their ability and concept, upbringing would allow them to.  Nothing was directed at you, nor should you "ever" take it personal....there will someday be that very special person with which you will bond.

Good good lesson, thank you

I think it's likely that you are exactly right in this... in addition to having said it so beautifully.
