An unexpected moment
on bent knee he asks,
emotions...deeply touched.

Tears fall from sapphire eyes
warmth flooding her heart
{an utterance in soft whisper}

A touch of hand
barely audible is heard
"Yes"

A vow to be taken
upheld with love and patience

{Eternity's embrace encompassing two}

Each held in own individuality
souls share as one...
now..........and always..
