Halloween Senryu's

Cobwebs lay in wait
Ghouls and witches sneak on by
This night it watches

Souls like fallen leaves
Run and dance on Hallow's eve
October's last rites

Trick or treat they say
For candy apples today
Mini demons knock

Rituals from Past
Meant to keep evil at bay
The masked night dancers

Ceremonies End
A nervous old house now stirs
Witching hour comes.
