*~~* Without our fantasies and our dreams how would we ever cope When some realities we face in this life would make us doubt and not see our hope Walking around with a frown with turmoil of life inside Churning around and causing pain making us from others hide It is easier for us to look inside where our sweet memories we keep Where there is peace, joy, and happiness helping us to smile and not weep Memories of when we are together seeing each other face to face Relishing in the others presence where between us there is no space Remembering times of our togetherness wherever may have been were they The times where sweet memories were made so remembering of them we may We cherish all our treasured memories taking care of them each They are all very precious to us so we keep them near within reach So, without our fantasies and our dreams oh how would we ever cope When some realities we face in this life would make us doubt and not see our hope *~~* |

Beautiful Ethel...we must remember to bank all memories when we can't be close to the one we love. ~hugs~ ~Time has cast a spell on you, |

(smiles) Oh Ethel, it saddens me to see so many always writing about their tears and griefs and never look to the brighter hopes of better things, sweet friend, I believe we should all express our tears sometimes but never overdo it and miss out on the brighter side of life! (kiss on cheek) You are a radiant spirit with optimism and love to give to all, sweet friend, yay, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth |

So true. Hope shines most when love is shown and we have that to hold on to. Very nice. Love, Terri~ |

It is easier for us to look inside where our sweet memories we keep Where there is peace, joy, and happiness helping us to smile and not weep Memories of when we are together seeing each other face to face Relishing in the others presence where between us there is no space Remembering times of our togetherness wherever may have been were they The times where sweet memories were made so remembering of them we may We cherish all our treasured memories taking care of them each They are all very precious to us so we keep them near within reach Amen to this, sweet lady... the reality of apart wouldn't be bearable without them. *S* |

Dixie, I'm glad that you like it. Thank you . Oh yes, Nancy Lee...what would we do without our memories at that time? . Thanks, Noah. I appreciate those words of encouragement and I love the picture, too. . . I appreciate each of you. Hugs Ethel |

Thanks, Terri. I really appreciate you, sweet lady. . suthern lady, it's certainly true that the time apart would be unbearable without the memories of the together time. Thanks, sweet lady. . . I appreciate both of you very much. Hugs to you both Ethel |

I was just having some thoughts on fantasies earlier today...I heard a conversation alluding to the fact that some get so caught up in their fantasies that when the real thing comes along it doesn't quite measure up...I don't think this is what your poem is about, but it brought those thoughts to me again...and I think I have been guilty of this...James |
