Still Of Night

An orange orb slowly sets
veiling me in thoughts of you
~stirring of memories begin...again~

Gazing into evening skies
in light of silver moon
shooting stars   slip by
~I plead for a wish to come true~

Silhouettes begin to dance
   my soul aches from feel      of bittersweet
clouds shroud    images
    slowly  fading........
~I still hear your whispers on the breeze~

A yearning, a burning inside
just one    last dance
to make a dream come true.....
~longings for yesterday~

I linger in magical moments
~time mystically touches my soul~

       Still of night surrounds me
       as my heart remembers...

We've got to lend a helping hand and learn to live
with our brother, we've got to
change this to a better land
and live in peace with one another..Head East.
