We have wandered far from sight Titillating rains and random smiles flight Collecting bits of cloth and candlelight An imprecise meander intertwining lines In off beat and steady, higher rise and shines I must admit the fear That brings my heart to search you here Tampering my logical Seeking compass, calmness Cross legged in the path of all lost promise Reckoning the checkpoints…turning stones Stroking softened underbelly, trust reverberates in moans Repetitive the questions fawned But speechless silence pouring jewels on porcelain cheeks And nothing can escape the drown this feeling speaks You are there…close by The familiar trade of thought seen by intuitions eye Labored in the breaths of real In connection to a higher will and broader why Removing every shadow cast of dreams so very shy Copyright Kkh 10/21/03 |
