Through the forest of feeling
I walk          alone

{and the emptiness surrounds me}

     in silence.

I pray   waiting
for leaves to fall
like yesterdays  dreams..

{dreams of then}

Lost in seasons
blowing by slowly
     ever changing

constant.....
without fail

creeping into    sorrowed souls
       {leaving the damp behind}
like moisture trapped
under fallen foliage
     eternally..... fading
with time~

{as does
    my heart.}

It's better than I could have planned..
it's made me who I am...
{Trace Adkins}

Umm.  Get the image of fall, slowly fading into grays.  Strange, how seasons encompass our moods.  Now you've got me anxious to see the crystal rainbows in a fresh snowfall.

I really enjoyed this one, Donna.

This is beautifully bittersweet. Thank you, Donna, for sharing this.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Donna, when I was a little boy, autumn always made me sad because of the dying flowers and leaves, and I felt buried in the ashes! (sigh) I know this feeling ever so well and hope it no longer applies to you, I send heart hugs your way, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Donna, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Donna~This is the first thing I have read this morning and frankly, I could stop here and be completely satisfied!  I loved this and I think I will keep it.
