Between the Lines

That same feeling hangs over me
and nothing can control it anymore.
The dampness dwells inside my heart
more so, than ever before.

That tree of life is gone,
awaiting its final fall.
And here I sit in loneliness
with only doom to call.

No arms extend, the reach too far.
A many splendored thing is love.
No thoughts to lift or be drowned out
Evades me now, emotions of...

Escaping Time

I dance the wind, its precious kiss
Its chill reminding me to keep
Reflecting of, to ponder on
that inside of, the deep that sleeps

If only, every leaf that falls
returns to earth enriching ground
would cover me as once before
to center me, to walk the found

And know that doom will pass this way
maybe once or even more
In darkness I shall solace find
escaping time, as once before.
