Final Goodbye

I can’t bear to hurt no more,
I’ve tried so hard, trying to convince myself I wasn’t losing you,
My mind says fight, my heart says, do you love her enough to let her go,
The fact of the matter is, I do, so I’m going to let you go,
This has to be the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do,

All I can do is remember all the good things we did,
Its hard to concentrate with all this torture,
When you’ve gone, it feels like my heart was tore in two,
I can only remember the most special night of my life,
Pretty darn good,

I couldn’t have pictured that night
Being that special in our own way, spot light beaming down on us in the middle of the floor,
If I had all eternity to choose,
It was the spare of the moment thing, grabbed you by the hand,
The soft and gentle touch of your hand, wrapped my arms around you in desperation,
Danced the night away, the last song, seamed to take a life time to end,

Me singing to everything I do, into your ear, all I could do is hold on,
I didn’t want the dance to end, but as my life goes, all good things come to a instant stop,
I wish you had have heard, I love you, message in that song,
From the day forward I’ve regretted not telling you,

But what I regret more, is that, I took your friendship for granted,
I sorta thought when we we’re friends we’d be friends for ever,
It’s so very hard to let go, of the woman who planted the love seed in my soul,
But as this song is called, Final Goodbye the rest of the song seams like a strong sense of love, and I can’t just say good bye for the last time.

But I’m a man of his word, never the less, I’m crumbling down inside right now,
Every word I write in this song, I cry with emotion,
This song isn’t just words, it’s my true feelings. No lie,
I’m crying right now, and I don’t think I can end this song, with goodbye,

But I’m blaming myself for everything.

(big hugggsssssss) It is perfectly natural to cry as you compose, sweet friends, I for one do it all the time when I spill out my depressing thoughts from the past and of the losses I've experienced!
