Deep,dark pain,
tears falling, black
diamond rain,

Heart tossed against rocks,
Heart beating, stopped, blocked

My crush has turned
into crushed,
Little words said,
are now hushed,

Whispers are silent,
life now dead,
black leaves blow,
all around my head,

Fairytales are nightmares,
they leave you afraid of the dark,
truth becomes lies,
shadows fall, leaving a mark,

Promises made, promises broken,
love alive, love dead,
heart thats muted, no words spoken

Darkness has fallen,
dreams and hopes die hard,
sleep gives me peace,
love has played its last card,

Broken pieces of me,
return to the dust,
shattered fragments,
torn, acid tears, heart
starts to rust,

Into my dark cold grave,
resting my heart once again,
heart is protected, locked away,
love has left, pain here to stay,

No one can break these chains,
no love remains,I sleep in quiet eternal
slumber,never awakened by time's number,

Last heartbeat, death does come,
to my soul, my heart,
let me go, let me rest,
leave my heart alone,

For there is nothing left,
you have devoured every part.

Nice entrance, just the right mix of darkness i like. Shakespeares sister i remember a cool duo from the late eighties or early 90s with the same name anyone else with me on this? nevermind

Welcome! thanks for the enjoyable first post. I hope you'll always embrace both the bright lights and the darkest shadows, as both are part of reality as well as fantasy.
