Lost in thought

I’m just missing you so much
I think you’d miss me too…
I miss the comfort of your touch
And everything you’d do.

But the house is just so quiet now
The stars are shining,
Moon is blinding
And my eyes are so resistant
To the changes in my heart.

So I turned the music on tonight
And then my tv too,
Next that heater and the fan…
Just something,
That would whisper you.

I just want
To feel your hand upon my shoulder
Not phantom, ghost, or angel grins
Then I could smile being sober…
Till missing you began again.
