Countless, those twigs so delicately placed. One by one upon the fly and land of feathered soar. Each a pillar, a haven’s piece... Each a bond of builder’s toils. Formed by nature, by instinctive thought. Born at birth, upon the shell’s break. Given unselfishly to their mate. Left, deserted upon their flight. Listen carefully, that one might hear. That one might feel the castle’s strength. Lift a hand, a gentle push.... For today the white dove flies....to build again... |
