In This Hour ....

In this hour of discontent
I cry the tears, Heaven-sent
Feeling each moistured drop-in-flow
as down this cheek of sorrow they go~

Nothing ever remains the same
with sweeping hands of tormented time
Touching dark ... of too soon embark
in this pen of rhyme~

I come slowly bending
on knee in reverent tending
asking for blessing of nothing but time
more ... more ...
please, dear mercy, I would implore~
