Between Between the scares of livid white Dance the memories of delight Phantoms of a ghostly hew In the shadows of review For me my magic carpet waits Right outside my shambles gate And I can stay the days declare As long as it remains out there. It is my lifeline in the flood That keeps me from the scud and mud It takes me into heavens realm And makes me think I steer the helm. It is a passage of the mist A fantasy with a twist It’s here I play the hand of God With just a smile and a nod It’s not a secret my dear friend It helps your passage to the end. |
