Laying Upon My Bed

As I lay on my bed I thought of the words she said.
Se said, someday we would travel the world and
share adventures that would lasts forever.
We'd frolic in the rain in Paris, enjoy Geisha
and sushi in Japan, sing karaoke songs in old
Hong Kong and stick our toes in Tahitian sand.
At that moment I heard my alarm clock scream
and I awoke from my lovely dream.
And then I remembered that the words were
sincere that she said and someday we may share
these adventures exactly like she said.
But for now I lay upon my bed.

I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man.

Thank you QJQ, Nightshade, angelblueyes, Koko and Kaoru for the nice responses...
Actually we have been discussing this for many months now and I find myself liking the idea more and more as days of thoughts and nights of dreams go by...like anything it will require time and money to put these desires into motion...thoughts and dreams but totally possible...she's in Los Angeles right now so we'll continue our discussion when she returns...James
