If you have to think
please don't try
cause I can't imagine
a good reason to why

It's a sign I would say
that I was quite blind
to see us a friends
for all of this time

Keep hold of the grudge
hold of the anger
never forget though
that I've always forgiven

I'm not in the business
or out to get hurt
so I'll bid you farewell
and give you a toast

Here's to the past
to faking a friendship
to not really caring
to you having no heart

Here's to my future
to finding new friends
to putting up walls
and not being the fool

Let go of your concept of reality and try mine for a while...then we'll see how long you last.

I like this, it had a nice easy going feel to it. Like having your head on straight. Nice write.
