Morning Light

I look at her in morning light, her body as perfect as can be
Sighing heavily inside, I finally feel free
For she is the one I love, my soul mate forever more
Though I almost once lost it, almost felt the shutting of the door

Now though things are different, as I watch her sleep
No longer inside does my heart hurt, no more will I weep
Her eyelashes flutter, but she just continues to sleep on
Inside I feel so much love, I pray for this love to never be gone

She awakes slowly opening her eyes, and she glances up at me
I wonder what she is thinking...in me, what does she see?
Knowing that she loves me is all I'll ever need to know
Loving her back, is all I'll ever need to show

hold it close and watch it grow into
something beautiful"
