As I write my heart to you
I know you understand
What I attempt to say
Though not written in best of hand

I know not the forms of poetry
or all the fine technique
Although my finished poems
are sometimes quite unique

My rhyme may not be perfect
Nor written with a fancy word
but, my Love, you know
are as true as ever heard

So please look over, my Love
if I stumble over a word or two
For they all come from my heart
and are written expecially for you

(smiles) Oh Ethel, I believe every single poem that is honest and written straight from the heart is ALWAYS the best poetry, as there is a good reason why I do not encourage Constructive Critiques and why I don't spend so much time writing in form, because I don't believe in critiquing poetry as it comes from ones personal feelings and emotions and they are golden and your poetry is always so special to us!
