 Picture by Alan Ayers * * * How will I be remembered Long after I am gone Will they cry at my funeral When they play my favourite song Will they say good things about me Or will they remember just the bad Will they remember all the love That I had for my dear Dad Will my words go on living In the hearts of those I love And will my spirit rise up high Upon the wings of a dove Will they welcome me in heaven And will I be given my own wings Will I hear the angels voices And the sweet songs they sing I hope I'll be remembered And that my memory will live on I hope to leave a good impression Long after I have gone I'm not afraid of dying I cannot control my fate But I know Dad will be waiting When I arrive at heaven's gate * * * "We are all angels with only one wing....... we can fly only by embracing each other." I am in motion |
