Notes Across The Night

animated in campfire smoke

with a most pleasant resin
held in fingers' blur
atoning my frequency
that tickles my tone
as embers flare in moonlight stare
woven in the pulse of air
and slide of neck
producing this pounding
expanding and contracting
with no frets barred
a message in measure
cradling body to breast
magic lines in composition
your hook imbedded within me...
