In arid lands, the spark ignites set by man or nature. The earth's beset by wounded flesh that only time can suture. With troubled looks, they search the sky as for a heavenly well. With hose and plane the fighters stand mid smoke and heat and hell. "Evacuate and flee the place" The call rings out again. The winds have died, the heat is gone, Heads soak in welcome rain. kayjay -'mid smoke and heat and hell' --what a line! I love the strong images in this one. Well done. Nan (Pilgrim variety) |

(big hugggsssssss) Firemen are most special people who risk their lives even in obligation to protect our forests and citizens from these natural disasters, and they deserve to be praised with all our hearts! (sigh) They are among our true heroes, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ken, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth |

Very emotional and power packed piece Ken. I hold everyone in my prayers who are in harm's way of this raging inferno. Very timely and perfectly penned! ~Soft Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~ ~ Summer can't be over... |
