“BEING OF THE NIGHT”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
I reside in the dimness of blossoms closed,
with sensitive thoughts inside this cocoon,
of tenderness within bringing of rapture,
as the light dim becomes one with the moon…
In rhapsodies harmony are singing whispers,
a melody from strings of a sweet guitar,
crying notes dwell of fingers touching soft,
and sighs are heard from a lover’s repertoire…
My eyes are closed as your nearness becomes,
closer to the darkness in mist where I reside,
for this being of the night knows no bounds,
when you’re in tender embrace near, alongside…
My soul sings out of the bright of the dim,
dawn comes but dark is yet of the shadows,
I speak of passions inner touch of many desires,
as a soft breeze touches skin in this raging inferno…
Very beautiful Bill.
I can picture you sitting on a moonlit beach playing this on your guitar.
Very  nicely done.
Beautiful, Bill...and this ending
is just aaahhhhh!!!
Bill...This was beautiful and romantic...as always. You just seem to get better and better. I especially was touched by these soft and tender words of romance:
I reside in the dimness of blossoms closed,
with sensitive thoughts inside this cocoon,
of tenderness within bringing of rapture,
as the light dim becomes one with the moon…
In rhapsodies harmony are singing whispers,
a melody from strings of a sweet guitar,
crying notes dwell of fingers touching soft,
and sighs are heard from a lover’s repertoire…
I can just imagine your fingers caressing the guitar the way they would a woman.
Bill, this is breathtaking, beautiful, and smooth.This reminds me of home and the nights of moonlit beaches, waves rolling on the shores, and music playing in the background.Thanks for the memories.
BC, you continue to bowl me over with the beauty of each of your oh, so romantic poems!
I see the moonlight  walking on the lake, the sparkle of the stars and hear the cries of the loons.
A picture worth a million words!
Bill, this took my breath away, I have a weakness for cool breezes and dimmed lights, whispers and sweet guitars, and the raging inferno, well, my oh my, that was nice indeed!  You must be a very romantic soul, and you definitely are a very romantic poet! I enjoy your writing very much. Bravo to you.
And with the soft touch of the breeze you are lifted out from the raging inferno .. delivered to the daylight, you who belong to the night's embrace with all its passion.
Good morning Bill!
Give the sun a chance to warm your heart, poet of love.
Love, Margherita
It is beyond me how you are able to write so many songs of love--they are truly melodic-- and maintain such sweetness and freshness to your words...
