Walls; they all surround me As I wait for each to fall So I build more to save me From the collapsing of it all They reach way up to heaven So there’s just some light to see No ladder and no staircase And no one to set me free They’re daunting, without windows Which I need to find some hope To see that others struggle too While searching strength to cope They grow just as a temple And they jail the souls of man Who find themselves submitting But who try the best they can So I am down here probing And in search of what might free The doubt that fills this lifetime And the life which hides in me |

Words which echo deep ... always good to have a candle handy, a spark, a glimmer ... a ray of Faith. Have a good day, Rick. |

Sounds like prison...hehehe I'll bake a cake, and slip you a file... No really...this is the most horrible place to be, because not only does hope seem to escape you, but groping for someone to bring you out of it seems even more hopeless. I guess there are times we just have to call on God. The higher power that gives strength. It's bigger than us so we look to something that's bigger than us.. well I think so anyways. Really I do sympathize, and I hope it gets better soon. SharaRose @-->-- Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer! |

oh Rick, m'friend...sad place to be... no one should have walls without windows it's hard to see other people's battles when you are fighting your own so hard, always feeling like you are losing but everyone struggles, in one way or another, with something or another you are such a kind and gentle man....I wish you peace and freedom Dixie |

ctowen, lovely to see your reply tonight, I shall remember the candle and your kind words, thank you. SharaRose, your words were wonderful to read, offering sympathy and strength with the touch of humour, thank you for caring enough to share your thoughts and words. Dear Dixie, hi my friend, always great to see you here, you are right, we all have our battles, life is a big one in itself, thank goodness at times we have a win, but then get knocked down again. When we speak from the heart, why does it always seem to be sad? I must admit, most of the time I do not feel this way, but it is the way it comes out, must be some subconscious thing. Thanks for visiting and replying Dixie, as always, very, very much appreciated. Take care my friend till the next time. To you all, again, thank you. Sincerely Rick |
