I’m sitting in my cold room just killing time,

Or maybe I should say,

Time is killing me.

As I read page 1977,

From the book of Ironic tales (Chapter 46 – Dead and loving it),

I realise I have wasted so much precious time.

As sure as daybreak,

As pure as innocence,

As obscure as art,

Time only waits for a new beginning.

The next time I catch myself wasting time, I'll try to remember that last line,
"Time only waits for a new beginning."
Excellently put.

Mercury...so much truth and wisdom in this.
Very nicely done.
