  Searching

Static by the windowpane
Feeling transcendental strain
Spirits pass the portal glass
And hover over fields of grass

Searching for a fantasy
Beyond this mortal agony
Caressing flowers that were cast
Each moment of a bloom that past

Touching looms of misty rhyme
That past into the sands of time
Seeing through the crystal due
The essence of the magic you

And in his heart and mind he cries
The deepest of the deepest sighs
And weeps a tear the visions sphere
So very far and yet so near

He would a single fatal goal
You live forever in his soul.

That we are all immortalized
in some one's very soul...
even, forbid, there's dust to dust,
still, 'tis a worthy goal...

Good morning Sy!

Here you are this bright morn,
with more wise words for us to devour.
Wonderful read this ayem.
Chai tea is just about ready.

Good grief I love when you write like this...
the intensity alone is enough to make me sigh and be high...then you add in these images, personifis and analogies and I am moth giddy...this was pure poetry in motion when read aloud..loving your word play and masterful cadence of rhyme as always..

and this verse.......

Static by the windowpane
Feeling transcendental strain
Spirits pass the portal glass
And hover over fields of grass

that verse and all it conjures is cooler than a mere moth has words for...

Static

transcendental strain

portal glass

now tell me that dont rock and roll in the rain. LOL

me thinks you are too cool for your own good! LOL

awesome write Sy-babes!!

When was the last time you felt this high,
you are the best I've ever felt.
Its so wrong not to be with you
Its getting harder to stay away.

Mornin', T-Man!

This is another fine example of
"The essence of the magic you"!

JM,
Your comments on the poem was everything I wanted to hear. I've never had anyone read me so well. It's like describing the beauty of a flower. One within my power. You are no moth but a mix of butterfly and Angel.
