Picture by Josephine Wall

* * *

Before you the sun lay hidden
And dark clouds blocked my view
But the sun came out to stay
On the day that I met you

Before you my heart was lonely
I was drowning in my sorrow
But you turned my life around
I now look forward to tomorrow

Before you my life seemed empty
And my goals were not set high
But you had so much faith in me
And now I reach towards the sky

Before you I hid my feelings
I kept them bottled up inside
But you taught me how to love
My tears have now been dried

From my heart I send a message
To show how much you mean to me
Our love will last as long as
The sun sets over the sea

* * *

"The best and most beautiful
things in the world
cannot be seen or even touched.
They much be felt with the heart."

I am in motion
I am blue
Love is an ocean
I'm anchored in you
