Friday, August 22, 2003 Today is the yesterday I will hate forever. Never have I been more foolish, more ignorantly malignant. Oh, I was blind. Blind to right, and blind to sense, and blind to what we both wanted. That is why my heart, crushed, devoid of faith, moves my pen incessantly. I will continue to write of you, because I miss you, and I’m sick of me. But then, so are you. I'll never forget you.... I know that much, despite my foolishness. maybe... but there are a good many who are not sick of you, nor are the days over for you to find that someone who is not sick of you.. and for them to embrace the you that they love.. last lines are like a kick in the chest... but that is how it feels sometimes isn't it. |

Janet Marie.... Thank you. I would say that I was aiming for that specific impact, but I can't, because I honestly don't remember writing this, or the other three poems I wrote that night. same passion and pain that hits me hard and drives me mad, thanks for the poetry and even when everything was wrong, and we were mad at the world, it was still beautiful. |
