Always It's said that passions always fade with time, And fervor, with the end of courtship, dies, But you possess a beauty so sublime, Desire will glisten ever in these eyes. No month, nor year, nor age, could bring an end To want inspired by love for true love's sake. If breath remains so must the will to wend the path back to your arms your gifts to take. Renewed with each remembrance of your scent My need to know your touch endures unchecked, And fueled by each sweet tryst together spent, It blooms from feelings founded in respect. True passion never finds its roots in lust But grows from seeds secured in care and trust. |

If breath remains so must the will to wend only someone with poetry in their veins could turn a phrase like that. So very good to read you again poet sir.... you already know my weakness for sonnets and you do them so very well... Reading you again brings to mind one special sonnet and me thinks I shall go find that gem again. ![]() |
