Have I washed upon your shore, My life just ship wrecked once more, With high tide receding? Will with ebbing on the sand stay Or on foaming tide washed away With my life receding? My body feels the cutting rough shells Every scrape the salty sting impales With my touch receding. The ocean’s pull is much too great And not long on your beach I wait With my world receding. Hold on! I'll be right there! *running fast as I can in deep hot sand* Aszard, this is a sad one, for sure [This message has been edited by passing shadows (08-29-2003 12:53 PM).] |
