You could be one, or perhaps two. You may be young, or possibly middle aged. Middle aged?Hmmmph, you might say at that. But, none the less, you are many things. You are the sun that warms my skin. The moon that glistens on my tears. The lightest of breezes that rustle my curtain at night. The cricket’s chirp in harmony to a firefly’s glow. You are the gentle wave that caresses my toes. The roaring surf that glistens on my skin. The sigh among the bows of giant pines. The waters that fall into a crystal pool. You are the snow that lightly touches my eyelid. The gentle rain that brings spring flowers. The rainbow that shimmers before me. The wisp of cloud that shades my rest. I could write endlessly of who and what you are.....for as my friend, a very special friend....you are and always will be all of this....... And more!!! |

Takes one to know one my dear Magnus. Your inspiration and deep heart touch so many... Somehow, I believe that this type of admiration can only be felt when received in kind. Wishing that for you always. And thank you, for once again modeling such excellent poetry for all of us. TD |
