Melissa, My life, My Love A poem inspired by the songs of Enigma All text in bold are Song titles from Enigma. Why did my life go this way I found my Way to Eternity and I let it go When I came Out from the Deep of my Age of Loneliness she was gone She was the Prism of my Life, TNT for the Brain But The Child in Us closed The Gate to the Gravity of Love between us When I let her go the Sadeness was unstoppable. I had tried so hard to Find Love But the Odyssey Of The Mind in me wouldnt let it happen In the seven years we spend apart our love was just Shadows In Silence My heart was just Morphing Thru Time I was Weightless As I traveled The Rivers of Belief I was Knocking On Forbidden Doors Fighting back The Voice & The Snake of what I had done to her Then one day I came to The CROSS Of Changes in my life I came out from Beyond The Invisible to the Roundabout of decision The Eyes Of Truth let me to the Return to Innocence The Silent Warrior in me became a Modern Crusader to the Principles Of Lust I started to Push The Limits on my Endless Quest of the Smell Of Desire The Voice Of Enigma brought me Back To The Rivers Of Belief The Screen Behind The Mirror had been broken I traveled Following The Sun, From East To West Hallelujah I found her She said I Love You Ill Kill You but ill love you forever We have started the Second Chapter of our life A Voyageur, In The Shadow, In The Light Under the Total Eclipse Of The Moon The Look Of Today is good And The Dream Of The Dolphin is finally coming to light She is my Third Of Its Kind and I will no longer be Incognito to her love Let The Piano play and the Traces of the past will fade away Don't be afraid to be weak Don't be too proud to be strong Just listen to yourself my friend That will be the return to yourself The Return to Innocence If you want then start to laugh If you must then start to cry Just be yourself don't hide Just believe in destiny Don't care what people say Just follow your own way Don't give up and miss the chance To Return to Innocence Don't think twice before you listen to your heart Follow the trace for a new start [This message has been edited by DbarrM (08-27-2003 08:08 AM).] |
