How can I find sleep
When my sad eyes can not weep
And my soul does cry,
I stay on these feet
Worn sore by too much of street,
That keeps going by
Each step a tear drop
So my walking can not stop.
Moving is salt tears
Till my soul is new
This journey will not be through
Will I go for years
Ending it all in an ocean deep?

Gloom

Please Note: this is not a poem about suicide, but grief.
Because of the possibility of  being misinterpreted
I did change the original writing,
to ‘salt tears’ to give the clue of crying an ocean of tears.

You penned grief..you brought it to life in my head..
