Overgrown summer awakens from vast chasms
Into happy sea blossoms hissing forth autumn spray
Fainting atmospheres of watercolors and power
Wearing the voice of foliage…oh bravura dazzling laughter
Trumpeting a clear change in complexion, like bright shiny hair
Reds, bright orange, coppers, toned with silver lighted atmosphere
Fire bursting forth, with earthly impetuous loving notes
Approaching summit rings of nature’s might so close
Timeless and proud, this harmony of life
Great forest of color, autonomous down pour, harmonious
Spirit of Autumn freeing intuition, mirroring across time
Awakening transitory brightness, flowering thoughts in poetic rhyme
Nature’s sequence spraying echoes metaphoric in prophetic motifs
Where the human side hears this sapless foliage reached

Living in VA now has me missing the beautiful colors of the fall in PA. I so love visiting friends and family back home in the fall. The drive is just as wonderful as being with old friends and family. You captured this beauty wonderfully!

There is nothing quite like an Eastern Autumn, and the colors are spectacular! I'm living in England now, where a similar transformation is taking place...seems the season of colours is upon us again!! Much enjoyed this wonderful write...~S~
