where the wild flowers grow

0 posted 2003-08-27 12:38 PM

In a bolt of white
I see your face again..

I dance barefoot in snow,
waiting.
Watching through covered pine..
the stars shine brighter here
than anywhere I've tread.

I want to walk and make
no footprints at all.

Weightless my misery
judges me,
endlessly.

I catch the sky as blanket and
breathe in the ocean..

Oh
Goddess you have
paid me well with
such beauty, if only,
everyone else could see
through my
ice blue eyes..

Though I've carried burdens,
though collected scars I
will touch upon this petal
day by day and
watch the sadness
melt away
as the seasons change.

I will wrap and tangle my
heart in daisy chain
kiss the soul of fawn and
let him freely run away..

This death is madness and
I regret the hook of
cycle created..
Yet I hope to see
life change..

The highway bleeds of
sacrifice ..
I will give life, oh root,
I will replace..

I will thank.

I find a certain joy of life in this poem, an image of the great Mother changing through all seasons, death, rebirth, renewal. This is wonderfully written, and I love the smoothness of transition here...Bravo!!!!  ~S~

And this is what it's all about...isn't it.  Your words are not only healing but filled with the reality and joy of life.  Thank you

Positively pagan -- and I mean that as a high compliment.  Nothing is quite as beautiful as tuning into nature's frequency and appreciating it.

It is all here . . .
to quote you:

It really is too bad that people can't see through eyes that *aren't* theirs. If they could see through the others eyes their perception would no longer be tainted by what they are, but would be percieved by what you are in purest form. No taint. WOW is all I can really think to say...except this....this is full of Beautiful!!!
