Broken Winged Angel

An angel sadly walks along
wondering if she will ever fly again
her heart is broken, will it mend?

she cant stretch out her wings
they feel so weighted down
she wonders if they are broken.

she is a broken winged and heartbroken angel
how will she make it through this
She tries to help others with her wisdom and love
as she cares so much.

She longs for someone who will help her to
release that weight, to help her spread her wings
She longs to be able to fly once again.

Her heart is tattered and torn, who will help mend it
Who will help her to soar?
She looks longingly to the sky
Hoping that one day again soon, that she will be able to fly

One day soon, there will be one to help her to fly
soaring up to the sky
Reaching for heights that she never dreamt possible

Til that day comes, she will hold on to her dreams
and even though she is a broken winged angel
She continues to care for ones that need it,
to comfort those that are hurting hiding her hurt,
to give hugs to All.

One day, this broken winged angel will soar
high in the sky, trying to touch the stars
Her dreams will one day come true
and she will be a broken winged angel no more

Beautifully done Meesh, it is through brokenness we can reach to others and you showed this so well.
