Fluid Core

Deep within a mental cell
Weeps a soul in simmers dwell
Painting rainbows sweet and lush
With echoes as its painting brush

Dabbing hews of golden skies
Silver sands where water lies
Forests and their dancing leaves
All the things this soul believes

Living in a world unclear
Its medium the wet of tear
Searching in a place of seem
Symbiosis in a dream

Horizons are its cast of net
Bringing in its food of let
And though the net is tight of knit
Osmosis floors the drag of it

It stays within a fluid core
A search it seems forevermore.

And you are a poet who is cool to the core...
and dont take my word for it...lets just look at your words...could these lines of theme, images, personifis, metaphors and rhymes be any cooler..any more cleverly and creatively twisted poetically to create this groovy poem?

just look at these lines individually..look at all they emcompass and envision...
With echoes as its painting brush

"echoes as a brush"  yer so kewl

Its medium the wet of tear

thats cooler than I have words for....

Horizons are its cast of net

And though the net is tight of knit

Osmosis floors the drag of it

I just adore you and your osmosis

and just look at the imagery in this verse...

Dabbing hews of golden skies
Silver sands where water lies
Forests and their dancing leaves

with only 15 words you painted us a landscape of the Sky, the Ocean and the Trees. Your gift to word paint scenes with subtle, tight couplets has always been one of my most fave things about your poetry.

And most impressive of all is the way you do this so consistantly well day in and out.

You are a bard among bards...a prophet among poets. And that dragon of yours aint half bad either.  LOL

JM,
Your break down of my poem is like a spoon of honey.
Your weather all is like raspberry tea
I put them together and sip this wonders potion
It is to my mind a magic lotion.
And am happy that you set me free.

You paint as vividly with your pen as you do your brush, my friend... and either medium shares perfection with us. *S* I enjoyed! *S*

Seymour,
This is wonderful.  So, much to savor in this verse.  I have read it several times...and know of what you speak.  The search is forever, my friend, to the time on earth we end. That is what I believe.  But what do I know?  LOL

I did so enjoy this write!

Such a beautiful write to-day dear Seymour. I have been so busy with the new pup, and Enchantress has been on holiday....we have missed tea and goodies together. Ah, but the kettle is on for an afternoon sip, and cinnamon buns are freshly iced. Let's enjoy! hugs, Chris
