Barren and hollow
the only sound
is the echo of emptiness
as it builds into a loud
and unavoidable roar

Devoid of all feelings
numb to any cares
lacking any thoughts to share
darkness creeps in
the empty space

depression sure to be the filler
of this once happy friend
How can life go on
when all family is gone
what do you say to make the sadness go away?

Life sucks some days and then you move on.
