while reclining
watchin carter
it’s always gettin harder
to welcome back
my day for
a day dream life

and though i’m always able
i can’t stop watchin cable
with my face flat droolin on the desk

my wife she comes and wakes me
after the second that it takes me
i see that she is very sebastianesque

welcome back walter
welcome back

i sit staring at the Guide
it must get good ratings
starsky and his hutch
cuz it’s right after carter
but life isnt harder
when you don’t think
about ratings all too much

welcome back
welcome back
welcome back Walter

as i’m dozin off again
now appearing is my daughter
who reminds the crowd in monologue
that we only welcome mister Kotter

Welcome back walt...nice to see you again. This one has a song-like quality - must be the memories of the TV show! How's things by you then? I miss you.

hahaha I love this. I loved Welcome Back Kotter. Vinny Barbarino, and Horshack, and Wshington...the whole thing is so fun!!!! I could hear the music to Welcome Back Kotter when I read this. Sounded like the theme song all the way through. Cute one!
