I open my eyes, but ever so slow The tears have a way to automatically flow Crying has caused my vision to be hazy But lately my mind has been going crazy Sometimes I ask myself the question why How much harder do I have to try? I’ve expressed my unconditional love for you Now I don’t know what else to do To give you space, I try to resist I know you get annoyed when I persist But I need to know what you feel To see if my fantasy can become real I try not to get too carried away I’m still afraid of what you might say I’m scared you’ll say I’m moving too fast Or that you love someone from your past My heart right now is fragile and tender But to you, I am willing to surrender The distance won’t be a problem for me But you still find it impossible to believe Sacrifice is nothing when it comes to you I’ll give to prove my love is true But what I want you to understand I’m waiting for you to offer your hand So I’ve decided just this one last time Will my heart attempt to make you mine I can only try and do so much To obtain the gift of your soothing touch My soul hopes you make the right choice And prays you listen to the inner voice Allow your mind to block out my situation And smile at thoughts of my eternal dedication Remember to you, I’ll be forever kind But darling, I offer this one last time ~A touch of Sweetness . . . . . A lifetime of Serenity~ |
