all in the manner of what you do
broken by the occasional flu
the background call of the wild
or foreground cry of a needy child...

all in the table manners of where you live
the much you share...what you really give
the manner of what you do
broken calls from a motley crew...

in search of promise... sailed seven seas
saluted lords...plundered to please
to the background call of the wild
and the foreground cry of a needy child

all in the manners...world events take place
a table is set to prosper or regress
global maps constantly retraced
how thoughts propogate...the way we think
change of style at a eye's blink
the way cultures step around the world
the way a nation's flag is set unfurled...

think of continued human change of things
the brutal surprises that abundance brings
one peace intitiative overides another
continued conflict...why bother?

That is part and parcel of the human experience!--We have to keep on trying! Mankind is a work in progress!

Another interesting write, Dear Ecrivan!

LeeJ,

welcome to Passions...this piece get my angst out at the futility of repeated peace
initiatives especially in the land of origins.

Serenity,

Outside of making trouble...there isn't much left to
do but watch with amusement or consternation at how we can continue to get out of it

inkedgoddess,

I'd say the answer is ironically as serenity
has it..there isn't much else left to do..with whatever we've been programmed to do

littlewing...

thinking about where we're going is always important

Raph,EarthAngel

thanks for sharing
