It Is My Heart

I'm not sure if I should
laugh or cry.
Have I really found
my true love?
At times I'm hesitant to believe
that my beautiful dreams
could come true.
I feel like I want to
love her forever.
But more than anything I need
to know;
does she share the same feelings
as me.
Only she knows her heart.
I know mine feels the
thrill of love.
And I want to know,
will she treasure my heart?
Will she let layers of love grow?
It is not me
that needs to know.
It is my heart.
