 Picture by Alan Ayers * * * On the edge of the Pacific Ocean Beside a sea of sapphire blue The sun is close to setting As the bride comes into view Frangipanis in her hair And rose oil on her skin The next chapter in her life Is about to begin She walks towards her man Barefoot along the sand A smile spreads across his face As he takes hold of her hand Their bodies move in closer As their fingers interlace He is captivated by her beauty Her sheer elegance and grace A celebrant will witness The union of their love As their vows are softly spoken The seagulls circle high above Wedding rings are exchanged And a kiss seals their love As they release into the sky A single white dove Two souls have joined together And two hearts beat as one A marriage made in heaven Beneath the warm Summer sun * * * "Wine comes in at the mouth and love comes in at the eye That's all we know for truth before we grow old and die I lift the glass to my mouth I look at you, and I sigh" I am in motion I am blue Love is an ocean I'm anchored in you - Shawn Mullins [This message has been edited by Suetang (06-18-2003 11:11 PM).] |

Sue, Way cool! My son and daughter-in-law got married on the beach in Jamaica! This is perfect. Well done as only a true romantic, lik you, can do.  If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
