Time comes
following each day
when I, and stars,
fade away

                Gone still
                unlike thoughts of you,
                myself,
                shades of midnight blue

     Rested
     upon pillowed clouds,
     rolling over,
     morning shrouds

                      Take note
                      of each prayer said,
                      at last,
                      putting the night to bed

Lovely, like a dream drifting in and out,
flowing endlessly in a stream of thought.

It's always nice to read you Craig~

I was drawn to this because I've been working on something with a similar title... and from your first lines, I was glad I'd stopped... I like it very much. *S*
