Somewhere... out there...

~*Soul'ar Eclipse*~

She stands in open view, yet seen by none
While praying one will notice soul's eclipse
Though most feel only calm of warming sun
Within her heart, the storm would capsize ships

None look, with naked eyes, upon her grief
For fear they may be captured in its wake
A few may offer shoulder of relief
Yet no one sees her spirit slowly break

Beyond her guise of 'happy and content'
She slowly drowns with falling of each tear
And though no sound she utters of lament
Her heart pleads silently for one to hear

She stands in open view, yet seen by none
And prays someone will look beyond the sun

This is indeed one of your best - Remember - even throughout the eclipse - The sun shines brilliantly behind the scenes...

Vicki:

this is amazing!
Oh you have been peeking into my heart now
havent you?

None look, with naked eyes, upon her grief
For fear they may be captured in its wake
A few may offer shoulder of relief
Yet no one sees her spirit slowly break

A very worthy work Vicky.  yes,  as Nan said,  shining brightly behind the eclipse.

Nice sonnet,  I enjoy an occasional write of
one myself.  They are a good challenge to
the mind...  You have done well.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Vicky, this sounds so very sad, dearest friend, the cycle is inevitable and every one who waits and dreams will find the moon shine upon them and make them the belle of the ball at some time! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Vicky, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I've made a couple of attempts at sonnets but they don't compare to this one Beautifully done.
