Like raindrops,
Sliding down
My cheeks.
Rivulets
Of salty streams
Coursing down
In streaks.

I feel so lost
And empty,
I've lost sight
Of Godly Light.
It's time to
Burn a candle,
And have it
Shining bright.

At times like this,
When lonely,
And drowning in
My sorrows,
Candles lift my
Spirits,
By lighting up
My morrows.
