I once beleived I had a sense of self as a rock remains steadfast in its constant hardened shape while it remains affixed unchanging and unmoving This rock of self was battered by torential rains and an endless barraging of heavy winds that tried to crack its purest core and always failed this is the self of my naive youth that guided me and kept me safe and never steered me wrong And now I feel that I have been weathered this rock has finally cracked I no longer know the light of truth from the emptiness of lies I have been strung along this spider's web with promises in greatest confidence that no longer appear so clear My rock has crumbled and my self is strung along a web of deceit I don't know who to beleive and I wonder should I keep faith in them anymore for a fleeing chance at hope or should I cut these sly connections and rebuild the rock to greater stature from the dust of new beginnings and be free from the slime of twisted mouths no longer being strung along this ever-growing web that holds me from myself -Jedi |

Well, all you can really do is grab Terra Firma and crawl away from whatever/whomever attempts to deceive you. Maybe look up at the stars and the moon and project your thoughts somewhere else? |
