Far beyond the blue of eye,
beyond the cloud laden sky.
Into the twilight of crescent.
The scent of home wafting
the pines and hills.

Where robins nest and doves
coo.  Where eagles fly the
blue of day.  Where waters
flow against a duned shore
of crystal sand...where
deer and antelope play...

Where is home to a traveling
soul?  When love is left the
corner behind in smiling tears
of quivering lip goodbyes and
longing farewells. And next
time is but tomorrow's dream...

Where brave hearts paint the
crimson hue upon the steps
of life's trials...

Rest the wearied soul upon
the meadow green.  Sip the
nectar of life’s breeze. Dine
the heaven’s fare.  Dream...

First star till morning..

Hear the Loon?

thank you  - I needed this

Where brave hearts paint the
crimson hue upon the steps
of life's trials...

Rest the wearied soul upon
the meadow green.  Sip the
nectar of life’s breeze. Dine
the heaven’s fare.  Dream...

as I go to seek this dream of solace

. . . all that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream  . . .

Yes, Barry...we do need to keep our dreams,
don't we?
Thanks for this.

(sigh) The soil is all too familiar, yet no one constantly is watering and sowing the wild oats to this inevitable blessing that can be tapping at ones shoulders unexpectedly! (big hugggsssssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is a very motivating write, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Nice to meet you, Barry.

This was the first poem I read in this forum. It pulled me in, spirit first. I felt my body and mind relax as all of my senses became involved in the peaceful scene you created here.
